The pollution that surrounds us (outdoor air, indoor air, food, etc.) is now a major public health issue in Belgium. Yet training in environmental health remains limited within the medical curriculum, leaving many doctors ill-equipped to answer their patients’ questions. However, the situation is gradually improving thanks to specific initiatives and training courses aimed at raising awareness among the medical profession.
